The Spanish-Norman Horse
Registry, Inc. is pleased to announce a recent honor...
Breyer Animal Creations
has selected the Spanish-Norman stallion,
owned by Hamid Hill Farm, Ltd., Woodbury,
Connecticut,
as a limited edition, collector's horse model in
porcelain.
This
special model of the 16.1 hand, Romántico H.H.F. in medieval
armor will be available exclusively at BreyerFest 2005, July
29-31 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. The theme of
this year's festival and horse fair is 'Medieval
Merriment.' Romántico and his trainer Garry McAllister
will perform daily, both in armor, portraying the noble heritage
of the Spanish-Norman, the historical and genetic re-creation of
the medieval knight's charger, 'the warhorse of the ages as the
sporthorse of today.' They will also be available for photo
sessions. Stallion owners, Linda and Allan Hamid, co-founders of
the Spanish-Norman Horse Registry, Inc. will autograph the
exquisite porcelain models by the renowned sculptor Kathleen
Moody.
Romántico
H.H.F. was sired by the Andalusian stallion, Embajador IX,
imported from Spain. A versatile performance horse and
proven sire, Romántico H.H.F. is an outstanding 'Ambassador' of
the Spanish-Norman breed. He is the sole American-bred horse of
Spanish descent to win a United States Equestrian Team ribbon,
'Festival of Champions,' June 2000, U.S.E.T. Olympic Training
Center, Gladstone, New Jersey. Romántico H.H.F. also won a 4th
place in freestyle reining at the American Quarter Horse
Congress, October 1999, Columbus, Ohio. Romántico H.H.F.
presents exhibitions at charity events, equine expos, and the
Greenwich Polo Club.

Farm, Richmond, Kentucky, the popular mare 'Tori' has impressed
crowds and won fans for the Spanish-Norman breed with her
wonderful performances in the All Breeds' Parade and daily
demonstrations.
